The Schelvenaer or Onverwacht is a flour mill in the Dutch municipality of Krimpen aan den IJssel. It was built on a site where the Unexpected tower mill stood until 1992. This mill was built outside the dikes in 1853 by order of Cornelis van Schelven, so that ships with grain could dock from Rotterdam to unload their cargo at the mill.

The Unexpected burned out on May 15, 1930. The fire brigade could only start extinguishing work after the spinning burning blades had fallen down. The hull of the Onverwacht was still active for a long time as part of the mill of Willem van Schelven, great-grandson of Cornelis van Schelven. The company's work was completed in 1975, after which all buildings were demolished. The mill body battered by the fire remained.

In 1986 the plan was made to rebuild the mill. The hull had subsided and cracked due to the lack of a good foundation and the consequences of the 1930 fire, and was finally torn down in 1992. The mill was rebuilt in 1993, this time on a better foundation. The name is derived from the miller family of Schelven. The mill housed a restaurant, also called "De Schelvenaer", nowadays it is called "Ross Lovell".

The mill is a municipal monument and usually open on Saturdays and is equipped with 1 pair of grinding stones.
