Anchor Hotel-Built in 1834, the Anchor Hotel was a 2 ½ story, 6 bay stone building which included a 2 story double veranda. It originally served as a rest stop and tavern for both canal boat crews and passengers. The Anchor has served Walnutport as an inn, restaurant, tavern, bed and breakfast and personal care home.
