House N° 5 in Ressel Square (Dum c.p. 5 na Resselove námestí) in Chrudim, originally Gothic structure from the 15th century was rebuilt in Renaissance stylein 1573 as engraved on the stone lintel above the house entrance portal.
The house is two-storeyed with a southern main two-axis facade. The facade is equipped with a parapet and crown stone cornice. Above portals and windows are triangular pediments (window pediments are supported by small corbels). The rare Renaissance three-stepped gable with cornices and corbels is equipped with decorative stone balls (originally cones) at both ends of the first and second cornice. The original stone cone is preserved at the top of the gable. On the ground floor there is an arched shop window in the first axis (above it is a fragment of the original stone masonry with rosettes on the edges and in the middle of a cartouche with the initial) and in the second axis is an entrance portal. The entrance portal is bossed from rough blocks, above it is a straight stone lintel with the year 1573 and the initials IBLF (probably the client of the reconstruction of the house or the builder?).
