The Pratts share a modern, gray granite headstone which faces up at an angle. Flowers complement the family name, "Pratt", which is in a box, and a scroll has a heart which separates their names. Inside the heart is "Married Nov. 29, 1928", and their personal information reads:
Hattie (Goodwin)
Dec. 16, 1904
Oct. 17, 2009
Henry
June 1, 1905
Mar. 30, 1986
Her Findagrave page has a photo -- it appears that her husband was in it, but he has been cut off -- and it lists her obituary. The Pratts were farmers and they raised cattle south of here in Lebanon, They had one daughter, India (1931-2002), who is also buried here with her husband. The obituary notes that she grew up poor but happy in a household with a lot of love and a lot of fun. She met her husband at an old time revival, one of her passions which also included music, dancing, and attending county fairs. Long active in the Lebanon Church of Christ, she was welcoming to strangers, and had a good mind for the history of Marshall County.
