Minneapolis-Moline was a tractor producer based in Hopkins, MI. It was aresult of the merger of three predecessors. The company produced farm UTS-series tractors between 1948 and 1957. The company was absorbed by White Motor Company and combined with Oliver tractors. The name was dropped in 1974.
The example on display bears serial number 335601S which put its date of manufacture as 1947-8. It was a standard front tractor. Other versions (UTC) provided hi-crop clearance, side view seating etc.
Cost new in 1948 was about $3000.
