"This window was erected in memory of William Anker who died 2nd October 1902
The window depicts ‘Christ the Shepherd’ and ‘Christ Resurrected as the Light of the World’
William Anker was a farmer who lived at Beech House in Cropredy. He never married and lived with his sister Kezia who acted as his housekeeper.
William was a churchwarden for 30 years. He also acted as a school governor and was a Parish Councillor from 1896-1902.
This window was put up in his memory by his sister Kezia Anker
