Wheelchair accessible parking lot and entrance.
Otto was built by local high schoolers in 1972 as their contribution to the town's centennial celebration. He's 40 feet long, and made of concrete-covered metal that rings when you tap it.
A sign in front warns: "Stay off the otter. Not responsible for accidents."
The Otter Tail River runs through Fergus Falls and the high school mascot is, you got it, the Otters.
