"La Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario tuvo su comienzo en 1907. Antes de este tiempo, los Católicos del área asistían a Misa en el pueblo de Niles. Se empezó la construcción del centro religioso y un salón recreacional en la calle 6 y la , principalmente con mano de obra de voluntarios. Este es el edificio que en la actualidad es nuestro Salón Parroquial. El Salón fue dedicado el 7 de Octubre, 1952 – la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Diez días después la iglesia de la calle 13 y <> fue destrozada por un incendio. El bombero Antone Alcosta corrió por el edificio en llamas para preservar el Santísimo.
