This section corner is located in the South Sugarpine lava flow at the base of a large unnamed cinder cone The cap is set on a buried pipe base rising about 10” above the flow surface. In a low between higher points on flow. The cap was set by the U.S. General Land Office Survey in 1917. The cap is marked T 20 S, R 11 E, S23, S24, S25, S26.
