The Ymer Well is a 1912 sculpture by the Danish sculptor Kai Nielsen.
The sculpture depicts a naked Ymer from the Nordic mythology drinking milk from the cow Audhumbla. The cow licks a salt stone from which the boy Bure is created. The sculpture, with the naked man, at the inauguration created enormous debate.
At the Faaborg Museum's 100th anniversary, Flemming Brandrup published the book "Fejden om Ymerbrønden" about the debate of the time.
