Who Put it Here?: Erected by residents of Middle River and area at home and abroad October 17, 1987

Description of Memorial:
The large black granite cenotaph is located between Farquharson Memorial Presbyterian Church and Middle River United Church. It is composed of an approximately 12 feet high rectangular granite monument with a stelia on each side. The words Lest we Forget are engraved at the top of the cenotaph while immediately underneath is a wreath and flaming torch.
