Depicted the Most Holy Trinity (Nejsvetejší Trojice) sculptural group you can find on the top of the Baroque Trinity column located in the main public space of town Duchcov - Republic's Square (námestí Republiky).

The Holy Trinity is depicted on the cloud heap, on the sides with a pair of putti. God the Father and the Son as seated figures, holding the sphere of mundi on their knees together, Christ has a right hand to the oath. Above the figures is a metal gilded dove of the Holy Spirit in a radiant gloriole.

The Holy Trinity sculptural group is the key part of a Trinity column with four figures of saints (St. John of Nepomuk, St. Francis of Xaverius, St. Joseph and St. Barbara). They are placed in circle around a central pillar with the Most Holy Trinity sculptural group. The column is work of Duchcov Baroque sculptor Matyáš (Matthias) Kühnel in 1749–1760. The column was built at expenses of František Josef cout of Valdštejn (Wallenstein) after the death of his wife, née Trautmannsdorf (you can find CoAs of Wallensteins and Tratmnasdorfs on the column).

The Christian doctrine of the Most Holy Trinity (Latin: Trinitas, lit. 'triad', from Latin: trinus "threefold") holds that God is one God, but three coeternal consubstantial persons or hypostases—the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit—as "one God in three Divine persons". The three persons are distinct, yet are one "substance, essence or nature" (homoousios). The Trinity is most commonly seen in Christian art with the Spirit represented by a dove, as specified in the Gospel accounts of the Baptism of Christ; he is nearly always shown with wings outspread. However depictions using three human figures appear occasionally in most periods of art. The Father and the Son are usually differentiated by age, and later by dress, but this too is not always the case. The usual depiction of the Father as an older man with a white beard may derive from the biblical Ancient of Days, which is often cited in defense of this sometimes controversial representation.
