The final resting place of centenarian Ruby E. Carter is at the southeast side of Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Wagoner (Wagoner County). Ruby had one son and two daughters, and was the middle of five children. One of her brothers also lived to be a centenarian.

Ruby shares a double, horizontal marker with her spouse Sam who lived to the age of 86.
