"This cemetery is 2 km east of the village on the D1044 in the direction of Berry-au-Bac.

Occupied by the German army in September 1914, the area was the scene of heavy fighting in April 1917, when it was captured by French troops and then lost. In May-June 1918 during the 3rd Battle of the Aisne, British troops suffered heavy losses in the region.

This cemetery was created after the armistice by adding isolated burials of temporary cemeteries in the area. This cemetery contains 564 First World War graves, 413 of which are unidentified.

The cemetery covers an area of 1,700 square meters and is surrounded on three sides by a rubble wall. "
