Depicted house N° 23 in Barborská street, with medieval Gothic core, Renaissance exterior and later annexes, is a typical example of the gradual architectural development of the Kutná Hora historic centre.
House N° 23 is two-storey brick structure, located in the street line, forming part of the development of an important road in the historic Kutná Hora center. Longitudinally situated building on a rectangular ground plan. From the side on the free right side is a small annex and above it a short boarded porch. The house has a distinctive Renaissance main facade facing the street, divided by stone lining windows and entrance doors. The floor is decorated with sgraffito on the first floor and a commemorative bust of the painter Felix Jenewein is placed above the entrance. The roof of the house is mansard. The two-storey cellars and probably a larger part of the above-ground constructions from the original Gothic house on this plot have been preserved.
