Toll booth of the Noordpoort built in 1609 and demolished in 1894. Square building of only ground floor with high hipped roof, which was renovated in this century. The toll booth dates from mid XVIII.Tolhuisje van de in 1609 gebouwde en in 1894 gesloopte Noordpoort. Vierkant gebouwtje van alleen begane grond met hoog schilddak, dat in deze eeuw vernieuwd werd. Het tolhuisje dateert uit midden XVIII.

Het wachthuis van de Noordpoort, die in 1894 werd afgebroken, is bewaard gebleven en werd in datzelfde jaar verbouwd. De gevels werden verhoogd en er werd een andere kap aangebracht. Bij de restauratie in 1962 werden deze wijzigingen weer ongedaan gemaakt, waardoor het gebouwtje in grote lijnen weer zijn oude proporties terugkreeg. Het gebouwtje bevatte oorspronkelijk een officiers- en soldatenwachtkamer; de portierswoning stond apart, aan de andere kant van de straat. Het poortwachtershuis is thans in gebruik als woonhuis.

The guardhouse of the Noordpoort ("North Gate"), which was demolished in 1894, has been preserved and rebuilt the same year. The facades were raised and another hood was installed. During the restoration in 1962, these changes were reversed, so that the building largely regained its old proportions. The building originally contained an officers' and soldiers' waiting room; the porter's house was separate on the other side of the street. The gatekeeper's house is currently used as a residential home.
