Rodin created The Thinker and them he made 21 further copies of the statue. They are spread all over the world and one can be found in Buenos Aires.

In front of the Congress there is a park area and The Thinker was placed there. It's a bronze piece, bought in 1907 and being one of the three copies cast in the original mold and signed by the artist.

There is a plaque with the name of the sculpture in Spaning, El Pensador, and a text explaining it was bought in 1906 by Eduardo Schiaffino on behalf of the City Council.
