The beach is located in a picnic area along Road 9. The beach has a toilet, changing room and a kiosk in summer. The safe swimming area is marked with buoys. There is no organized swimming supervision on the beach, the rescue equipment is a throwing rope and a lifebuoy. The municipality of Liper is responsible for the cleanliness of the beach, swimming area and changing rooms. Pohjois-Savo ELY Keskus is responsible for the general cleanliness of the rest area, emptying waste bins and toilets.
