This is a small but very well curated railroad museum in Buenos Aires

This nice museum is located in Retiro area and one can walk there from the center although some caution is advised due to the proximity of a problematic neighborhood.
It's the official museum of Argentinian Railways and from that perspective it's a bit disappointing as there is no heavy equipment, no cars, no locomotives (well, there is a little one outside). Just a couple of exhibit rooms. However small, it's still a great museum with a great collection. And it is for free.
The museum is dedicated to the Argentinian writer Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz.
