Hnedý vrch (Brown Hill) is a lookout tower built on the hill of the same name, 1207 meters above sea level, 2 km southwest of Pec pod Snežkou in Krkonoše (Giant Mountains).
Hnedý vrch lookout tower was opened right at the upper cableway station to the Hnedý vrch on 1.7.2009. The tower consists of six wooden columns connected by a steel structure with several observation floors. Above the wooden part is a fully steel triangular structure with a main covered viewing platform located at a height of 27 m. The project of the tower is the work of the architect Michal Rosa. The construction for 15 million crowns was carried out by Skanska compoany from September 2008 to June 2009. Access is free.
