Dimanche, comme tout au long de la saison, un des professionnels du tourisme de la Communauté de communes du pays de Dol et de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel, animera les visites guidées mais pour la Journée de la télégraphie, ces visites seront gratuites. Cette journée est pilotée par la Fédération nationale des associations de personnel de la Poste et d’Orange pour la recherche historique Tout au long de la saison estivale et plus particulièrement ce dimanche, les visites guidées permettront de découvrir l’histoire du dernier système mécanique et visuel utilisé en France. La visite de la station permet au public d’observer les conditions de travail du télégraphiste, mais aussi le fonctionnement du mécanisme basé sur l’observation et la transmission de signaux codés, formés au moyen de trois bras articulés. Le musée, installé dans l’ancienne maison d’habitation du télégraphiste, présente cette histoire à travers des panneaux illustrés, des maquettes, ainsi que des bornes ludiques.
