En Construction was undertaken in 1730 by Intendant Boucher and completed in 1751. Architect Gabriel drew up the plans and directed the construction. The decoration of the facade was carried out by Verbeckt who, helped by Vandervoort, finished in 1743 the sculptures and in particular the tympanums of the two pediments: "Mercury favoring the commerce of the Garonne" and "Minerva protecting the arts". At the back of the courtyard is a fountain attributed to Francin. The buildings delimit an interior courtyard, substantially rectangular.

Au fond de la cour se trouve une fontaine attribuée à Francin. Les bâtiments délimitent une cour intérieure, sensiblement rectangulaire.
