The large, two-storeyed rendered brick premises and detached stables were purpose-built for the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Ltd in 1891 as their Bundaberg branch office and manager's residence. The first floor verandahs are supported by paired cast iron columns with corinthian capitals, between these are cast iron balustrades with timber hand rails.The ground level balustrade has moulded concrete balustrading with hourglass-shaped balusters.
