Hamilton may have over 100 waterfalls and cascades but only a few dozen of those are well known. There are maybe a dozen or more such falls and cascades between Devil's Punchbowl Falls to the west and the east border of the city, yet most of them are rather obscure and rarely visited. Pond Falls (also known as Harvey Falls) is among the taller (and more scenic) of waterfalls east of Devil's Punchbowl. However, you need to time your visit just right. Through the summer the vegetation makes this waterfall hard to view, and the lack of water makes it not worth the visit. A visit in early spring or in winter will be more productive.
The City of Waterfalls websites describes Pond Falls as such: "a Terraced Ribbon Waterfall with three vertical drop sections. It measures 16 metres (52 feet) in height and 3 metres (10 feet) in crest width. It experiences impressive flow during seasonal rainfalls and after the snow melt. It is also known as Harvey Falls" Source: www.cityofwaterfalls.ca/pond-falls/ (

The waterfall will be visible from the Bruce Trail, which is accessed from either Fifty Rd (N 43.195551 W 79.644086) or from the end of Lewis Rd (N 43.204624 W 79.663226).
