The dove of peace is at the top on the front of the headstone, flying above a ribbon and the word "Hope". In its place on the three other sides are flowers, possibly morning glories. There is a decorative ribbon around the perimeter below the dove and flowers, and the family name, "Jordan", is on the plinth. The inscription reads:

Unfortunately, there isn't much available to shed any light on what happened to Mr. Jordan. There are plenty of broken URLs, with nothing to be found on his Findagrave page. While FamilySearch has some bits about him prior to his death, again, there are no details about the murder.
