FR Ses origines remontent au XVIIe siècle mais son histoire est mal connue. Sa structure est toute simple : orientée nord-sud, elle est faite d'une nef à travée unique et d'une abside en cul-de-four ajoutée lors de la restauration.
La voûte en ogives cache une charpente sur chaînage de béton, et l'intérieur des murs est recouvert de plâtre.

En 1989, Jean-Luc Cherel aidé de son père François Cherel et de quelques donateurs, entreprirent de restaurer cette vieille chapelle abandonnée.

Une association fut créée pour l'occasion, enregistrée en 1990 et ayant pour vocation de pérenniser le site comme un lieu de prière et en permettant à une religieuse d'y accueillir les visiteurs. Un petit ermitage fut construit sous couvert de l'évéché d'Avignon, les bâtiments devenant propriété de la commune de Saint-Saturnin.

Depuis lors, l'entretien et la mise en valeur du site sont assurés par la religieuse avec l'aide de l'association. La chapelle est dépositaire du Saint-Sacrement, c'est-à-dire d'une hostie consacrée devant laquelle on peut prier. Quelques objets d'art religieux ainsi que des fleurs et des livres constituent le mobilier.

L'autel en pierre de taille provient des carrières de Taillades. Les baies latérales sont fermées par des vitraux réalisés par Jano Xhenseval. Deux bas-reliefs contemporains représentent un portrait de Marie-Madeleine et la scène des saintes femmes au tombeau. A l'extérieur, les abords sont aménagés en jardin paysager d'où émane une atmosphère de quiétude et de recueillement.

Le clocher s'élève au dessus de la porte et ne porte qu'une seule cloche.
EN Its origins date back to the 17th century but its history is poorly understood. Its structure is very simple: oriented north-south, it is made of a single span nave and a cul-de-four apse added during the restoration.
The ribbed vault hides a frame on concrete chaining, and the inside of the walls is covered with plaster.

In 1989, Jean-Luc Cherel helped by his father François Cherel and some donors, undertook to restore this old abandoned chapel.

An association was created for the occasion, registered in 1990 and intended to perpetuate the site as a place of prayer and allowing a nun to welcome visitors. A small hermitage was built under cover of the bishopric of Avignon, the buildings becoming the property of the municipality of Saint-Saturnin.

Since then, the maintenance and enhancement of the site have been provided by the nun with the help of the association. The chapel is the depositary of the Blessed Sacrament, that is to say of a consecrated host before which one can pray. Some religious art objects as well as flowers and books constitute the furniture.

The freestone altar comes from the Taillades quarries. The side windows are closed by stained glass windows made by Jano Xhenseval. Two contemporary bas-reliefs represent a portrait of Marie-Madeleine and the scene of the holy women at the tomb. Outside, the surroundings are arranged in landscaped gardens from which emanates an atmosphere of tranquility and meditation.
The bell tower rises above the door and carries only one bell.
