This plaque is located at the side of a roundabout in Llandudno.

The plaque commemorates the opening of a new road connecting the town directly to the A55 expressway in December 1985.

The plaque is of slate and has a bi-lingual inscription.

The inscription of the plaque reads:

At the time the road was built and the plaque was unveiled Llandudno was in Gwynedd but is now in the county of Conwy.
