Mr. Mooney is buried in a family plot near the southwest corner of the cemetery, along with two of his wives, Hattie (m. 1908) and Della (m. 1921), and a daughter, Nancy Ruth. He did have a third wife, Pearl. His
Findagrave page has a nice photo of him with at least three of the four children he had with Hattie: Georgie, Nancy Ruth, and (Sam) Dudley. There is a young lady with them, "Susie", but that doesn't appear to be Dudley's wife (Nora Belle), and the fourth child was Hattie M. Unless there was a nickname involved...
His family was from Tennessee, and he lived in Clifton for most of his life. There is an interesting story on the Findagrave page for J.D. Scantlin, who is also buried in Oswald Cemetery with his family. It relates that, after Mr. Scantlin's son, Newt, died and was buried here in 1925, Mr. Scantlin, his wife, Mary, and their son, William, were removed from their final resting places near the Bosque River, and buried together alongside Newt. It was Mr. Mooney who did the proverbial dirty work of the move.
The headstone itself is of marble, with floral detail at the top of each of the four sides. The inscriptions read:
