The Bostwick School 125-3 Tillman Street, built in 1921, was in continued use until 1977 has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior.
The first floor had four rooms and was used for grades 1 through 8 with two classes in each room. The second floor was used for assembly, soup kitchen, library and has a large stage area. A water trough and restrooms were in the rear. The school was a significant departure from the previous one room schoolhouse. After renovation, the school became Bostwick Library.
