The firehouse is a beautiful one-story brick building with a sloped roof over the garage, and another over the office wing. There are four large vehicle bay openings on each side of the building. The fire department operates a ladder truck, two engines, two tankers, four brush trucks, three command vehicles, two rescue squads, a command bus and an all-terrain vehicle. They average 1100 calls per year, with 80% being medical.
