FR On peut supposer qu'il y avait ici une construction, à l'angle de la rue Raspail et de la rue de l’Écrevisse.
Le "trou" laissé ne pouvait visiblement pas rester en l'état et un artiste est venu peintre en trompe l’œil une scène de vie : une femme qui semble étendre son linge depuis une fenêtre. D'autres fenêtres, dont une grande avec un volet partiellement ouvert, une porte, des protections et tout en haut un cadran solaire complètent le tableau.
EN We can assume that there was a construction here, at the corner of rue Raspail and rue de l'Écrevisse.
The "hole" left could clearly not remain as it was and an artist came to paint a scene from life in trompe l'oeil: a woman who seems to hang out her laundry from a window. Other windows, including a large one with a partially open shutter, a door, protections and at the top a sundial complete the picture.
