Sternwarte Schafmatt - Oltingen, BL, Switzerland - Astronomical Observatories on Waymarking.com

EN: The Schafmatt observatory is located on the Jura range between Oltingen, BL and Rohr, SO. It is operated by the Aarau Astronomical Association and has a Cassegrain reflector telescope with a diameter of 450mm and a refractor with a diameter of 150mm.

The observatory is open every Friday, from April to September from 9:00 p.m., from October to March from 8:00 p.m. It can be rented for group tours on Thursdays.

Driving to the observatory is not permitted. There are two parkings around ten minutes' walk from the observatory in the direction of Oltingen or Rohr.

DE: Die Sternwarte Schafmatt befindet sich auf einer Jurahöhe zwischen Oltingen, BL und Rohr, SO. Sie wird voder Astronomischen Vereinugung Aarau betrieben und verfügt über ein Cassegrain Spiegelteleskop mit 450mm Durchmesser und einen Refraktor mit 150mm Durchmesser.

Die Sternwarte ist jeweils freitags geöffnet, von April bis September ab 21:00 Uhr, vom Oktober bis März ab 20:00 Uhr. Donnerstags kann sie für Gruppenführungen gemietet werden.

Die Zufahrt zu der Sternwarte ist nicht gestatten. Es befinden sich zwei Parkplätze rund zehn Gehminuten von der Sternwarte entfernt in Richtung Oltingen bzw. Rohr.
