Located in the Peaceful Ridge Park in Davie, Broward County, Florida is a butterfly garden. This garden is adjacent to the dog park and the equestrian trailer parking area.
The garden includes numerous native plants for both caterpillar and adult stages along with shallow watering area for adult butterfly's to drink from. The butterfly garden was the Eagle Scout project of Jake Catellano of Troop 183 and was completed in August of 2015.
This butterfly garden is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.
