The Moorhead Tourist Information Center is located in the Village Green neighborhood, but assessible only from the East Bound lane of I-94.

The Moorhead Tourist Information Center is located inside a highway rest stop. When I stopped in to get photos for a couple of other Waymarks the volunteer behind the Tourist desk was someone I had worked with as a teacher. We chatted about her volunteer work and I found out that before volunteers are allowed to take a shift they have to study up on the history and attractions of Moorhead, MN, Fargo, ND (just across the river) and the surrounding area; they are also required to pass a test with a high score.
In addition to the helpful volunteers, the center has an informational video that plays on a loop, brochures for area attractions, local magazines and, of course, maps for the state and area.
Hours of Operation:
Sunday: Noon - 5pm
Monday: 9am - 5pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Public Washrooms: Mens, Womens, Family and Handicapped
Snacks/Drinks at the facility: Yes - Vending Only
