Unbound is located on the south side of the brand new Norman Central Library, on the north side of Andrews Park.
London artist Paul Cocksedge created the sculpture Unbound. He was selected from over 200 applicants from around the world for an outdoor piece to be placed in front of the brand new Norman Central Library.
This outdoor art stands about 25 feet tall, and is all white. Material used include aluminum for the book pages, and wire to hold them up as if they were being blown around. It is about 8' wide. An approximately 10' diameter concrete foundation that is about a foot high supports this art piece. The unbound book pages are on the large size, approximately 12" x 8" each. There are about 120 pages in this sculpture.
