The restaurant San Marino, that is just opposite the famous Achilleion Palace, has a large outdoor seating area that also is a museum.
The exhibits are very different. There are items that are over 500 years old, but also a lot of more recent stuff that is just garbage.
This lavoir or laundry basin is one of the oldest and most interesting items. It located just next to the entrance. It has a size of about one and a half to three meters. One of the narrower sides has a lower inclination, so this is where the person stood that did the laundry. The brick foundation is surely not original.
The label says it is from around the year 1400. Maybe, but there are also a lot of those labels on this site, that are obviously completely wrong.
