At the 'Marine-Ehrenmal' (Naval Memorial) in Laboe, Germany, Schleswig-Holstein is the ship screw of the submarine U8 on a permanent display.

The German submarine was built in 1911 and destroyed by British destroyers in 1915. The ship screw was brought back to the surface in 2014. It was put on dispay in 2016.
