"106 Market Street: (1900-1910) Two story, Italianate influenced commercial brick
building. The recessed storefront entry has a replacement door with wood infilled
sidelights and infilled double transom. Flanking large fixed glass display sash have
paneled wood bulkheads and a metal threshold plate runs across the storefront. There
are center cast-iron Corinthian half-columns on pedestals and flanking end pilasters.
The east end has a large six-panel wood door, set between pilasters, with a large
one-light transom. A plain wood cornice with end brackets spans the storefront. The
second story has four 1/1 sash with stone lintels and stone sills. A simple metal
cornice with acanthus leaf decorative brackets and end brackets caps the building.
