Location of public lands: MO-M (Old US-40) & Lamine River, [north and parrillel to I-70], 3 miles E. of MO-K, Cooper County
Size" 36.6 Acres

6 camp sites, free...often used by people traveling on Interstate 70, so about half full on week-ends.
Down side of campsites, is I-70 traffic noise...

Site mainly used by fishermen. Available here are Channel Catfish, Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, and Flathead Catfish (often called locally Goushon, and called Bullhead Catfish in parts of the south)

Contrary to Wikipedia listing, this is in Cooper County, not Boone County

This is Missouri and out in the country and next to a river...so
Copper Heads, and non-poisonous snakes may be in the vicinity.

Also, in summer poison ivy and poison oak also may be present.
