The Government of Barbados installed a large welcome sign honoring Bajan singer and songwriter Robyn Rihanna Fenty on the corner of Westbury Rd. and Rihanna Drive in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Rihanna's childhood home in Bridgetown, Barbados has become a major tourist attraction. In 2017, the Barbados‘ government officially changed the name of Westbury New Road to Rihanna Drive to honor Barbados' most famous citizen. The placed a large double sided sign at the end of the street welcoming you to Rihanna Drive and honoring Barbados' most famous citizen. The sign has an outer metal frame which is inscribed:

A polished black granite plaque has a laser etched image of Rihanna and the following inscription:

The Government of Barbados has renamed this street Rihanna Drive in honour of the Barbados native, world famous singer, actress and entrepreneur Robyn Rihanna Fenty who grew up here. It was formerly called Westbury New Road.
