"The Grigny church is built of red bricks and chalk. This picturesque church seems to have been rebuilt around 1680 by Dom Placide de Brandt, abbot of Auchy.

It has some elements of the flamboyant Gothic style, especially in the bays.

Inside, we can notice that the nave, higher than the choir, has no vault but a ceiling. Note also the presence of a magnificent confessional, quite large compared to the size of the building.

The west wall is blind but is surmounted by a slate bell tower, without openings, which is itself surmounted by a hexagonal spire. The small frame bell tower covered with slate contains a bell of about 350 kilos named Julie Sophie Françoise, melted in Douai in 1874. "
