The Da Nang Train Station is located in the city centre, not too far from the City bus station. The station seems a little small for a city of this size, but it was clearly built a while back when the population was smaller.
In design, a station in two parts. At the entrance, one enters the station. Here there is a cafe, a small shop, and a small waiting area. Here one scans one's ticket and then enters the second part, the embarkation waiting room. This is much larger. Behind the station are the tracks and parked trains.
There are few tickets sold here. I gather most passengers buy a ticket online. Overall, the process is quick and efficient. There was one staff present who could speak good English and deal with the tourists bumbling around the station.
