Tremblay Station enables passengers at the VIA Rail Ottawa train station to connect with the new local, light rail system. It is a short, outdoor walk from the VIA Rail station to Tremblay Station. The local Confederation Line light rail system opened to passengers in September 2019. The platforms at the Tremblay Station were built less than 200 metres from where the OC Transpo bus-only Train Station existed from 1987 until 2015.
