The Classic Revival Style Toowoomba Post Office, construction of which was completed in 1880,comprises a two-storeyed front section with wings at either side which are also two-storeyed. The pale yellow sandstone facade of the building is symmetrically designed around a central clock tower which displays four faces.
The building is no longer used for the business intended due to the Post Office moving to premises across the road, a cafe/ restaurant now occupy part of the building
