Cette ancienne église catholique romaine est située sur la rue Drouart dans l'arrondissement Ahuntsic-Cartierville à Montréal, Québec. Elle appartient à la communauté arménienne de Montréal.
Connue actuellement sous le nom de First Armenian Evangelical Church in Montreal ou encore Première Église Évangelique Arménienne de Montréal, entre 1965 et 2003, cette église s'est nommée « Église Saint-Gaétan ». De catholique qu'elle était, elle est devenue protestante (évangélique).
La paroisse de Saint-Gaétan fut fondée le 11 juillet 1960 par Mgr Paul-Émile Léger . En 2003, après quelques 40 ans d'existence, elle a été supprimée et ses registres ont été transférés à la paroisse Sainte-Famille-de-Bordeaux-Cartierville.
L'église a été bâtie entre 1965 et 1967 selon les plans de l'architecte Louis J. Lapierre. Ce dernier s'adjoint les services de Guy Lord, ingénieur en mécanique, et de la firme Bouthillette et Parizeau. Lapierre collabore aussi étroitement avec les paroissiens pour s'assurer de répondre à leurs besoins liturgiques et socioculturels.
L'église est bâtie dans le style fonctionnel, moderne. L'architecte s'inspire de plusieurs grands architectes pour la construction de ce lieu de culte qu'il réinterprète à sa manière. Les voûtes paraboliques hyperboloïdes sont inspirées de l'architecture de Félix Candela (1910-1997), les passerelles ainsi que les parois inclinées le sont de l'oeuvre de Kenzo Tange (1913-2005) tandis que les gargouilles marquent une influence de Le Corbusier (1887-1965).

The church was built between 1965 and 1967 according to the plans of the architect Louis J. Lapierre. The latter enlisted the services of Guy Lord, mechanical engineer, and of the firm Bouthillette and Parizeau. Lapierre also works closely with the parietedshioners to ensure that they meet their liturgical and socio-cultural needs.
The church is built in the functional, modern style. The architect was inspired by several great architects for the construction of this place of worship which he reinterpreted in his own way. The parabolic hyperboloid arches were inspired by the architecture of Félix Candela (1910-1997), the walkways and the inclined walls were the work of Kenzo Tange (1913-2005) while the gargoyles mark an influence by Le Corbusier (1887-1965).
