Taken from Valerie Bomberger:"Wade’s Bayou Memorial Park is a 1.8 acre park located off Center Street in Douglas. It sits on the shore of Kalamazoo Lake and river area. It is a 160 acre all sport waterway within Allegan County. This park has an area for kayaks and canoes to launch into the lake. There is a seasonal canoe/kayak rental area. The park benches are a great way to pass an hour or two looking at the lake or just reading a book. There is a gazebo at the waters edge. The picnic tables in this area make a nice place to have a quick lunch."
