The building Mechanica 2 received LEED certification on the level GOLD. This project complements so far built campus consisting of buildings Mechanica 1 (LEED PLATINUM) and Walter. The whole project Mechanica 2 incorporated effort in order to achieve the LEED GOLD certification and therefore thebuilding significantly decreases energy consumption,decrease potable water consumption and improve indoor environmental quality.

The extensive Waltrovka development realized by the Penta Investment group moves ahead with construction of the phase Mechanica, the complex of three buildings. Mechanica follows on the first administrative building Aviatica, which was completed in summer 2015 and today it is the place for headquarters of a number of successful companies. Mechanica phase is situated nearest to the metro station B – Jinonice. The new foot bridge creates a direct link between the metro vestibule and the main square in front of Mechanica, where public amenities in form of shops, restaurants and other services can be located. Penta plans to invest in Waltrovka more than 5 billion CZK in total with the ambition to create a new pleasant city environment for work, living, shopping and leisure.
