A Blessing Box is a small, often homemade structure where people leave donated goods for others to pick up anonymously. Located in a common area, people are filling them with items that will help those in need—everything from non-perishable food to toiletries.
The Little Free Pantry pilot project began in May 2016 and was basically a Little Free Library concept for non-perishable food to toiletries, now Blessing Boxes as they are called are appearing in communities where there are food instability.
