The building is of brown brick, with two levels of height, and a flat skillion roof over the taller vehicle bay, and another skillion roof over the office annexed to the west. There is a separate single-bay colorbond shed to the rear of the premises, with a hip roof for a medium-sized fire tanker. Behind that shed is a tall wooden pole, with a metal-armed cross-piece, to raise and drain and dry the used fire hoses, which also has an antenna placed on it. There is a red-painted, old-fashioned panel to the left of the vehicle bay for a Fire Alarm, where possibly you could turn the knob, open the metal plate, and put on the switch for the Alarm. [NOT personally tried!]
The crew had pulled the Mercedes fire truck out of the main bay, and were having an education session in the bay when I was photographing the Fire Station.
