The park area at the northern entrance to Laurieton may be more commonly known as "Laurie" Memorial Park, from the multitude of War Memorials within it. [Including two plaques for two generations of 'Laurie' soldiers.] This plaque is on the north face of a cream/tan brick pillar (with 'shoulders'), north of the 25 pound artillery gun. The plaque is for the returned soldier and volunteer groundsman of the Park, with the following inscription on the bronze plaque.
